TxSEA Education Foundation

The Texas Society of Enrolled Agents Education Foundation, Inc. was incorporated in 2016.  It offers financial aid to Members of the Texas Society of Enrolled Agents, Inc. to attend educational offerings which will help them to complete annual required hours of education and to enhance their knowledge of tax law so they are able to more competently represent their clients before the IRS.  Residents of the state of Texas who wish to become licensed as Enrolled Agents are also eligible to apply for scholarships to take the Special Enrollment Exam (SEE) preparatory course prior to testing to qualify for the Enrolled Agent credential.

Application Requirements:

  1.  All Sections of the application must be completed.
  2.  If you are applying for a scholarship for the IRS Special Enrollment Exam (SEE), please provide a letter of recommendation from a Circular 230 practitioner (Enrolled Agent, CPA or Tax Attorney) or an accounting professor.
  3. Your application must be sent to the address listed on the application no later than 60 days prior to the start of the applied-for course or event (postmark date or courier service shipping date).
  4. If awarded a scholarship, you must provide a copy of the flyer or registration brochure for the course and/or study guide and a receipt or registration confirmation to document the purchase before the foundation will release the funds.
